Kidaddle
Kidaddle was a personal business venture I embarked on in 2010 along with two partners. Kidaddle was a subscription-based one-stop website connecting parents with the best Kansas City has to offer kids. More than 10,000 local resources for activities, events, lessons, clubs, sports (and the list goes on) could be easily searched providing descriptions, cost information, contacts, etc., as well as helpful tools for parents to manage their children’s activities.
The Kidaddle branding had a circus-meets-vaudeville vibe. Hoping to appeal to both a parent’s sense of nostalgia and a child’s love of whimsy (and toys!), vintage tin robots were a visual centerpiece.
